Melissa Van Leuvan, B.S., LMT

Melissa specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone massage and is a Certified Personal Trainer. Melissa’s interest in Massage is a result of working in the field of Therapeutic Recreation after receiving her B.S. in 2004 from Utica College of Syracuse University, Utica, NY. She did her internship at Gaylord Hospital, a rehabilitation hospital located in Wallingford, CT. There Melissa worked with the Sports Association of Gaylord Hospital and provided programs to promote optimal well being. Melissa then attended the Massage Therapy program at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY earning an Associate degree in Applied Science. In 2007 she became a certified Personal Trainer through the Cooper Institute. Since receiving her license in massage therapy, Melissa has worked in a day spa and is anxious to widen her scope of techniques through continuing education courses.
